Guitar Feedback control?

Does anyone know what the small boxes that guitarists hold to the strings to control/create feedback when playing live are called?Guitar Feedback control?
they are called an 'ebow'. they cause a difference to occur in the magnetic field around/over the guitar string.

this makes the string resonate on and on endlessly, causing the effect that you can hear and are referring to.

ps they are very easy to use, and don't require much skill or practice.Guitar Feedback control?
It's called an Ebow (as in electric bow).

You can also buy a Sustainer from Fernandes which fits in the neck pick up position of the guitar and does the same thing.
